Metsänhoitoyhdistysten verkosto (valtakunnallisista palveluista vastaa Metsänhoitoyhdistysten Palvelu MHYP Oy, Y-tunnus 1740948-6) on läpinäkyvyyden kärkeä: julkinen palveluhinnasto, tukien euromäärät, laaja palveluvalikoima, OmaMetsä-verkkopalvelu ja oma metsäasiantuntija ovat esillä. Yhdistys on metsänomistajien oma edunvalvoja, joka ei osta puuta itselleen. Lopullinen palveluhinta sovitaan asiantuntijan kanssa ja verkoston rakenne on hajautunut.
