Getting your own swimming pool is a big investment, and the price range is huge: a ready-made in-ground pool package for the yard typically costs from a few thousand euros to several tens of thousands, depending on the pool's size, material and technology. Between suppliers, the biggest visible difference is not the pool itself but how openly the price and the package contents are stated before a quote request. We compared pool and ready-made pool package suppliers by whether the price is visible in euros, what the package includes, whether installation is offered, and how the warranty and delivery are described.

How to read the comparison correctly: Half of the points come from buyer's questions, i.e. things the buyer finds out before deciding. The other half measures how openly the company publishes its prices, terms and contact details. Clear differences in points indicate a genuine difference: one tells you the price immediately, another only after logging in. Close scores should not be read as a ranking order, because every measurement has a margin of variation. The measurement accuracy and the full calculation formula are open in the methodology.
Customer experience is brought into the assessment separately. We also collect customer feedback and customer experiences about companies through separate surveys. The survey results will be added to the overall assessment later.
Who is on the list? Included are suppliers that have their own live consumer website and sell swimming pools or ready pool packages across Finland. Some sell from an online shop with prices in euros, others show the range and ask you to submit a request for a quote. Hardware stores and department stores where pools are only one product group are not included.
What do we measure? The comparison concerns the site's transparency for the buyer: whether the price of the pool or package is shown in euros, what the package includes (pool, filtration, piping, steps, chemicals), whether an installation or set-up service is offered, and whether the frame and material warranty, delivery area and technical details are stated.
The total price is always specific to the property. In addition to the pool itself, the final price of a pool is affected by the ground, groundwork, frost insulation and technology, so a public package price is a comparable starting point for the buyer, not the final contract price. Quote-based pricing is not a fault, but a public price gives the buyer more up front.

For some, yes: for example, suppliers selling through an online shop list ready-made pool packages with prices in euros, typically starting from a few thousand euros. Some suppliers show only the range and direct you to request a quote, in which case the price is not visible before contact.
A comprehensive package includes, besides the pool itself, filtration equipment (pump, sand filter), through-wall fittings and basic piping, steps, and often maintenance tools and a starter pack of chemicals. It is always worth checking the contents of the package supplier by supplier, as the scope varies.
It varies. Some suppliers offer an installation or erection service, others deliver the pool and leave the installation to the customer or to a professional they hire. Electrical work almost always requires an authorised electrician and is usually not included in the price of the pool.
A fibreglass pool is delivered ready-made in one piece and installed into an excavation, which speeds up installation. Liner and steel-wall pools are assembled on site and the pool liner is installed separately. Each has its own advantages in price, installation and service life.
