We scored 7 business gift and promotional product suppliers on 22 metrics. The key question for a corporate buyer: are product prices, printing costs, minimum order quantity and delivery time visible before ordering, or are they only revealed through a quote request?
Corporate gifts and promotional products are almost always bought with logo printing, so the final price depends on the product, printing technique, colours and order quantity. Therefore the main difference between suppliers is not the price of an individual product but how openly the price, printing cost, minimum order quantity and delivery time are stated before the request for quotation.
Product prices visible without logging in or a quote request (20), printing or logo cost or its pricing basis stated (16), minimum order quantity or smallest printable batch stated (14), delivery time or delivery schedule for printed products stated (12), delivery costs or free delivery threshold stated (10), breadth of range or number of products displayed (8), product can be ordered or a quote requested directly online (8), return or complaint terms displayed (6), business ID (Y-tunnus) displayed (6)
Transparency is 30% of the total points · these metrics make up its 100 points · the full formula and the other pillars
How to read the comparison correctly: Score measures how openly a company publishes its prices, terms and contact details, not what kind of service it gives its customers. Clear differences in points indicate a genuine difference: one states the price immediately, another only after logging in. Close scores should not be read as a ranking order, because every measurement has a margin of variation. The measurement accuracy and the entire calculation formula have been laid open in the methodology.
Customer experience is brought into the assessment separately. We also collect customer feedback and customer experiences about the companies through separate surveys. The results will be added later to the overall assessment, so that the Score tells not only about transparency but also about how customers experience the company's service.
Who is on the list? Included are Finnish suppliers of corporate gifts and promotional products that sell products printable with a logo to companies nationwide and have their own live web shop or catalogue. Not included are general department store or web shop chains where promotional products are only part of a broad range, nor print shops without a nationwide corporate-gift range. All seven are independent operators.
What do we measure? The comparison concerns the transparency of the purchasing process to a business buyer: whether product prices are visible without logging in or a quote request, whether printing or logo costs, minimum order quantity, delivery time and delivery costs are stated, how wide the range is, whether you can order directly online, whether return terms are shown and whether the business ID (Y-tunnus) is visible. We do not measure who has the lowest prices or the finest print quality, but how openly the supplier states its terms before the buyer has to ask for a quote. It is common in the sector that prices and terms only become clear through a quote request, which lowers transparency from the buyer's perspective.
Bot or server blocking is a measurement gap. If the supplier's pages were behind a bot or cookie wall or the page did not respond at the time of measurement, it is marked as a measurement gap, not a zero. Walls are not bypassed.
Every company is measured with the same public formula across four pillars: technical quality, transparency, reachability and AI quality assessment. A ranking cannot be bought, and you can see the origin of every point on the company's profile. Read the full methodology →
Varies by supplier. Some state the price including printing (e.g. 'from, with printing'), for others printing is a separate cost, which may include setup and film fees. A few suppliers have a public quote calculator for the printing price.
Most often 50-200 pieces depending on the product. Some suppliers state the minimum directly in the product listing, for others it becomes clear in the quote.
The normal production and delivery time for printed products is about 1-2 weeks or 7-10 working days. Some suppliers have a separate express delivery range with a delivery date promise.
Because the final price depends on the printing and the order quantity, some suppliers price each order separately as a quote. Prices and open terms visible in the comparison raise the transparency score.
