Ventilation duct cleaning improves indoor air quality and keeps the ventilation system energy efficient. For the consumer, the most important difference between companies is transparency: whether the price of cleaning or a price calculator is visible online before contact, whether it is stated what the work includes, right up to measuring and adjusting air volumes, and whether you get a written report on the work. We scored six companies by how openly this information is presented.

How to read the comparison correctly: Half of the points come from buyer's questions, i.e. things the buyer finds out before deciding. The other half measures how openly the company publishes its prices, terms and contact details. Clear differences in points indicate a genuine difference: one tells you the price immediately, another only after logging in. Close scores should not be read as a ranking order, because every measurement has a margin of variation. The measurement accuracy and the full calculation formula are open in the methodology.
Customer experience is brought into the assessment separately. We also collect customer feedback and customer experiences about companies through separate surveys. The survey results will be added to the overall assessment later.
The comparison covers companies that clean and service the ventilation ducts of homes and housing companies for consumers. The scores show how openly the company presents the price of cleaning, the content of the work, the measurement and adjustment of air volumes, a written report and the service area before contact.
Included are both companies with a public price list or price calculator and quote-based providers. Price comparison services and lead brokerage platforms (for example Urakkamaailma, Urakkadiili and Homemap) have been left out because they are not actual cleaning companies but collect quote requests for several providers.
Every company is measured with the same public formula: half of the points come from buyer's questions and half from basic metrics, which have four pillars: technical quality, transparency, reachability and AI quality score. In a detached house the price is typically about 300-800 euros depending on the scope of the work. In blocks of flats the price is often determined per apartment. A household tax deduction can be claimed for the labour portion.
Thorough cleaning includes cleaning of ducts and valves as well as measuring and adjusting air volumes. It often also involves replacing filters. Check in the quote what will be done specifically at your site.
A reliable company provides a written measurement or cleaning report for the work. It states the measures taken and the air volumes measured and serves as evidence that the work was done.
A ventilation system is recommended to be cleaned about every 5-7 years. In families with allergies and asthma or in a busy traffic area, the cleaning interval can be shorter.
Some companies have a public price list or price calculator that gives an estimate directly. Others price the job by quote. The comparison shows who presents the price and the scope of work openly before contact is made.
