Notes
The comparison includes the public prices of six aesthetic treatment companies for the three most common treatments: botox for one area, one millilitre of hyaluronic acid filler and a consultation visit. The prices are the lowest published price for the treatment in question, VAT included when the company states it.
Information that the company's pages do not state is not guessed. Missing information gets zero points for this item and the reason is shown next to the company.
The practitioner, the filler brand and the area affect the price, so the figures are not entirely like-for-like treatments. What each price includes is stated under the company.
About this comparison
We scored 6 non-surgical aesthetic medicine clinics on 20 metrics. The most important question: is the price of botulinum, filler or skin treatment shown in euros online, and is it stated who performs the treatment, or does that only become clear at the consultation?
When choosing a botulinum toxin and filler treatment or other aesthetic treatment, two things decide safety and price: whether the price of the treatment is visible in euros in advance and whether it is stated who performs the treatment. We compared six non-surgical aesthetic medicine clinics by how openly each discloses online prices, the practitioner's qualifications and the terms of treatment before booking. Surgical procedures, such as breast surgery and facelifts, are covered in a separate plastic surgery comparison.
What transparency means in this category
Treatment prices publicly shown in euros (30), practitioner's qualifications stated (doctor or nurse vs beautician) (18), what the price includes stated (substance, area, amount) (12), consultation price or policy stated (10), follow-up check stated (10), appointment can be booked online (10), business ID (Y-tunnus) shown (10)
How to read the comparison correctly: Half of the points come from buyer's questions, i.e. things the buyer finds out before deciding. The other half measures how openly the company publishes its prices, terms and contact details. Clear differences in points indicate a genuine difference: one tells you the price immediately, another only after logging in. Close scores should not be read as a ranking order, because every measurement has a margin of variation. The measurement accuracy and the full calculation formula are open in the methodology.
Customer experience is brought into the assessment separately. We also collect customer feedback and customer experiences about companies through separate surveys. The survey results will be added to the overall assessment later.
Who is on the list? Clinics that offer consumers non-surgical aesthetic treatments (botulinum or Botox treatments, hyaluronic acid fillers, skin care and mesotherapy) and that have their own live website and a public price list in euros. Surgical private hospitals (breast surgery, facelifts and other procedures under general anaesthesia) can be found in the separate plastic surgery comparison and are not included here. The pool covers different localities (Helsinki, Tampere, Vantaa, Kokkola, Kouvola, Hamina, Lappeenranta, Ylivieska, Pietarsaari, Seinäjoki), because the sector is largely regional. The comparison does not tell you which clinic is closest to you, but how openly each one states its prices, the practitioner's qualifications and the terms of treatment before booking an appointment.
Why these six? On some sites in the sector the price is only given at a consultation, and for a few clinics the business ID (Y-tunnus) shown on the site could not be verified from the trade register. We do not publish a company whose responsible entity cannot be confirmed. The business ID (Y-tunnus) of all six has been verified from the trade register.
Comparison guide
What to consider in the comparison
The price of botulinum treatment, i.e. Botox, for one area is about 190-270 euros in the comparison and a full upper-face treatment about 430-500 euros. Hyaluronic acid fillers most often cost 300-590 euros depending on the treatment area and the amount used.
All clinics in the comparison publish their prices in euros online. Some operators in the sector only state the price at the consultation, which was excluded from the comparison.
Who performs the treatment affects safety. Injection treatments are performed by a licensed doctor or nurse, not a beautician. At the clinics in the comparison the practitioner is a doctor or nurse, and many name the practitioner.
Consultation practice varies: for some a consultation is free of charge, for others separately priced (about 49-100 euros), and the price is often credited towards the first treatment.
How Suomen Paras assesses and scores
Every company is measured with the same public formula: half of the points come from buyer's questions and half from basic metrics, which have four pillars: technical quality, transparency, reachability and AI quality score. Ranking cannot be bought, and you can see the origin of each point on the company's profile. Read the full methodology →
Expert tips
Before booking, make sure the treatment is carried out by a licensed doctor or nurse. Injection treatments carry a risk of complications, the management of which may require a doctor.
Compare the total price, not just the from-price. The final price depends on the number of areas treated and the amount of medication or filler used.
Ask what the price includes: consultation, anaesthesia, the required amount of medication and a possible follow-up check. The contents vary from clinic to clinic.
Make use of the consultation. A good clinic goes through your health, contraindications and the realistic outcome before anything is done.
Frequently asked questions
